Sisters of the Word™

WEAVER COUNCIL

A Three-Month Journey of Writing, Embodiment, and Co-Creation for Oracle Poets

She Who is Beneath Everything has been calling to us for some time now.

“Edge-Walkers! Thread-Gatherers! Journey in from the foreign hills and scraggly shore. It is time to birth in harmony. To create chorus. Come to the center fire where your voices, stories, and bodies beat of Home together.”

Many lone wolf songs have been circling on many winds.

Scavengers. Survivalists with cunning wit and miraculous Stamina.

Instinct-driven Mothers and resilient Maidens. Bridge builders, hearth tenders, realm benders.

Grandmother Trees still standing.

Behold! The Women who carry Threads of Timeless Word are returning from Exile

and claiming their rightful place beside the Well.

Weaver Council is the Collective Body where we Re-member what was Dis-membered

and give it Spine.

Where we birth poetry that will Midwife the Death of Defiled Culture

and write stories that will educate and embolden the Beowulfs and Jeanne d'Arcs - the heroes - of tomorrow.

This is a Mythic Body that can honor your highest intelligence and direct your flames of passion into impact.

A Mythic Body that does not seek to lift one voice above the other - for our shared purpose is greater than individual fame or gain.

A Mythic Body that we feel in our Bones.

This year, we write & with this Spine we set free the Cleansing Fires and Promised Water upon the Captive Lands.

Join us as we Weave Sacred Texts & Stories for the Fulfillment of our Souls and the Enrichment of Generations.

It is time for the Council of Weavers to Write.

“Overflowing with gratitude for SAGA - the container that holds me, awakens me, calls my wild woman forth, and sets my heart aflame weekly. Candles lit, babies at our breasts, hearts wide open, kneeling at the altar of womanhood, we write and through this ceremony we birth culture.” - GEMMA

“You have created a phenomenon here, in SAGA… You have birthed a culture of sisterhood and love and freedom. You have planted a forest.” - KAREN

  • Women who enjoy communion with their bodies, their power, the elements, and the dance between

  • Mother Poets who want a circle that can hold them and their Artistry as they hold their babes; honoring the wisdom of Birth, Life, and Tending

  • Medicine Women, Mentors, and Lineage Healers with a story to resurrect, a song to sing, a medicine to pour

  • Clairvoyant Channels with a message or vision to refine

  • Wisdom Keepers seeking paths to embody and offer their medicine to our world

  • Cultural Midwives looking to connect with other women in shared artistry, heartspace, wombspace, and a collective vision of a more Beautiful World

Together, we are birthing the Ripe Matriarchal Stories our lineages, communities, and world hunger for.

  • “The writings that float around me and wake me up at night have haunted me too long. SAGA is where I am held through the gestation and birthing process to bring my writing through."

    MADELINE

  • "A Transformative and mythic space, held with a sturdy spine."

    SHAELYN

  • “A space in which I hear the deep vibration of the womb...I taste the power of the feminine... I feel deep healing and transformation through words - medicine forged from the darkness that holds the potency of a new world.”

    INKEN

  • "An immaculate container. I could barely see myself three months ago and today my sight is purer, more open, and laced with hope and dreams."

    NIKKI

  • “Sophisticated and sensitive, backed by silence, spiritual practice, the art of contemplation. A garden of the poetic mystic, the wise medicine woman, the artist, the creative. Divine Mother powerfully pulsates in the field of Saga.”

    DANI

  • "Overflowing with gratitude for Saga - the container that holds me, awakens me, calls my wild woman forth, and sets my heart aflame weekly. Candles lit, babies at our breasts, hearts wide open, kneeling at the altar of womanhood, we write and through this ceremony we birth culture."

    GEMMA

  • "The SAGA council has been an immaculate space to not only land back into my writing flow, but also to channel my inner oracle and commune with sisters dedicated to their storytelling abilities. I am forever grateful to SAGA for holding the space for me to widen and deepen into my body, deeply access my heart and womb, and provide divinely inspired prompts to fall deeper into myself. From there, I've experienced a calling and revitalized commitment to bring forth my own medicine into form, and likewise receive nectarean medicine from other women."

    NISHA

  • "I am beyond fulfilled, SAGA Council was truly life giving and enhancing. The journey, the container, the women; it was like nothing I have ever experienced in its safety and authenticity. The weekly calls were well crafted and organized, the communication was clear and consistent. I feel more fully embodied and grounded into my voice and story that I am here to tell."

    ROSE

  • "I didn't know what to expect, and I left floored. With myself, my own voice, my own power, and by the power and grace of the women who created our circle. I am more profoundly satisfied than I could have wished for. Saga facilitated an experience where wounds, blessings, gifts, and transmissions all had S P A C E -- space to flourish, die, rot, and be rebirthed. For the totality of life to be held so thoroughly, I am satisfied. Inspired. And humbled."

    SARAH

  • "Saga. These epic women. These remarkable stories. I am speechless. I will be forever changed by this circle. I can feel my soul expanding. This group holds it all. The feminine is at home here. THANK YOU for your heart, your leadership, your holding with Saga. This community is sacred, and I deeply believe we are rooting new frequencies in our bodies and on this earth."

    KAREN

  • "Saga's integrity is the loudest affirmation I can share. It is one of the purest spaces I have ever been a part of.”

She is now busy forming The Church of Feminine Bliss.

She will guide us forth in offering our words to the world while rooted in independence, resourcefulness, and freedom.

Why “Council”?

Women’s Council is an ancient, circular model of wisdom seeking and sharing. In Council, all women present are regarded as Visionaries and Oracles of our time, and there is ample room for open sharing - it is not a true council if the same teacher(s) lecture with no room for Round Table Discussion. In Council gatherings you are invited to seek wisdom from one another and share from your own unique perspective as Woman Storyteller. Council supports our embodiment as creative leaders of our time, and ushers in synarchy rather than hierarchy. Though we all have different roles to keep ecosystems thriving - and are continuing to re-member the function of these ancient ways - Council invites us all to Give and Receive.

Our Three Month Journey

Begins Monday, March 16.

Together, we will study three Dragon Myths and gather resonant threads into our bundles. With the support of Live Writing Circles, Workshops, Open Council Discussion, and Embodiment Journeys, we will each work to submit THREE pieces of writing for our collaborative publication*.

An otherworldy experience of the power of the feminine psyche, led by Noël Ruth.

  • How do we wield our power in the world with discernment, wisdom, and grace? How do we become Vessels that can protect and sustain what we are called to pour? How do we thrive in relationships when our power can be challenging for others to experience?

Yogini, Nita Rubio will be leading us through three workshops designed to not only strengthen our power, but to refine how we deliver it in a violent world.

  • Supported by the Wisdom of Grandmother Poet, Karen Leigh, we will gather for three Round Table discussions about the living threads between us. Disclaimer

Saga is a trauma-aware space where there will be vulnerable shares (poems, stories, etc.) about challenging topics. It is not, however, a group therapy space for verbally processing traumatic history. The facilitators of this space are not therapists or counselors. If you suspect you would benefit from 1:1 therapeutic support while embarking on this creative unearthing journey in Saga, we encourage you to line up that support.

By joining this program, you are taking responsibility for managing your own experience, as both the keeper of your own journey and a sovereign witness of others’ journeys.

The Lineage of the Ancient Word Weavers

This work stands in a lineage far older than modern writing practices.
It echoes back to the women who wove reality with their breath, with their root network, attuned to culture and the space beyond time.

These women tracked the unseen with sacred sight and transposed into language as both medicine and map.

Across many cultures - Norse, Celtic, Greek, Sumerian, Mesoamerican, Indigenous - there have always been women who served as Word Weavers: women who shaped reality through prayer, chant, lament, and story. These women wove the intangible -

  • recorded the dreams of the tribe

  • crafted laments and dirges for the dead

  • channeled poetry for Earth and Spirit

  • wrote prayers that carried families through famine

  • shaped myth to guide communities through upheaval

  • spoke the words that no one else could speak

They carried the understanding that the written word, when born from the body, the bones, the wound, the wild, does not just describe experience. It alters it.

SAGA is born of this universal lineage of women who write from the sacred, the somatic, and the unseen. In this Lineage, we work with Living Word not just as self-expression, but as invocation. Far beyond journaling, we are devoted to the Art of Living Words as prayer-craft, soul-liberation, culture-making.

SAGA is held by Spiritual & Physical Councils of Ancient Word Weavers. Together, we carry forth Writing as a ritual act of creative healing, a way of aligning the human with the Divine, the psyche with the primordial, the personal with the mythic.
