Sisters of the Word™
WEAVER COUNCIL
A Three-Month Journey of Writing, Embodiment, and Co-Creation for Oracle Poets
She Who is Beneath Everything has been calling to us for some time now.
“Edge-Walkers! Thread-Gatherers! Journey in from the foreign hills and scraggly shore. It is time to birth in harmony. To create chorus. Come to the center fire where your voices, stories, and bodies beat of Home together.”
Many lone wolf songs have been circling on many winds.
Scavengers. Survivalists with cunning wit and miraculous Stamina.
Instinct-driven Mothers and resilient Maidens. Bridge builders, hearth tenders, realm benders.
Grandmother Trees still standing.
Behold! The Women who carry Threads of Timeless Word are returning from Exile
and claiming their rightful place beside the Well.
Weaver Council is the Collective Body where we Re-member what was Dis-membered
and give it Spine.
Where we birth poetry that will Midwife the Death of Defiled Culture
and write stories that will educate and embolden the Beowulfs and Jeanne d'Arcs - the heroes - of tomorrow.
This is a Mythic Body that can honor your highest intelligence and direct your flames of passion into impact.
A Mythic Body that does not seek to lift one voice above the other - for our shared purpose is greater than individual fame or gain.
A Mythic Body that we feel in our Bones.
This year, we write & with this Spine we set free the Cleansing Fires and Promised Water upon the Captive Lands.
Join us as we Weave Sacred Texts & Stories for the Fulfillment of our Souls and the Enrichment of Generations.
It is time for the Council of Weavers to Write.
“Overflowing with gratitude for SAGA - the container that holds me, awakens me, calls my wild woman forth, and sets my heart aflame weekly. Candles lit, babies at our breasts, hearts wide open, kneeling at the altar of womanhood, we write and through this ceremony we birth culture.” - GEMMA
“You have created a phenomenon here, in SAGA… You have birthed a culture of sisterhood and love and freedom. You have planted a forest.” - KAREN

Weaver Council Guides
-
Council Elder. Grandmother Poet. Channel. Alexander Technique Teacher.
Karen’s life has been about working her way out of the underworld, where she descended, after three encounters with death, by the age of five, in which she was left alone, the third being her own father’s death. Words have been central to this journey and to answer the question, born in her, age five, “What the HELL is going on?!” This journey has reached its culmination, at the birth of her granddaughter, in April 2025. She is now busy forming The Church of Feminine Bliss.
-
Mother. Writing Guide. Founder of Saga.
Founder of SAGA, Mother, and guide for women’s creative and spiritual leadership. With over a decade in writing and editorial work across nonprofits and women-led initiatives, and eight years leading women’s writing circles, Noël weaves trauma-aware facilitation, soul retrieval, and matriarchal storytelling into her work. Shaped by a profound grief initiation after the death of her first child, Noël holds spaces where story, embodiment, and sacred responsibility meet.

Why “Council”?
Women’s Council is an ancient, circular model of wisdom seeking and sharing. In Council, all women present are regarded as Visionaries and Oracles of our time, and there is ample room for open sharing - it is not a true council if the same teacher(s) lecture with no room for Round Table Discussion. In Council gatherings you are invited to seek wisdom from one another and share from your own unique perspective as Woman Storyteller. Council supports our embodiment as creative leaders of our time, and ushers in synarchy rather than hierarchy. Though we all have different roles to keep ecosystems thriving - and are continuing to re-member the function of these ancient ways - Council invites us all to Give and Receive.
Our Three Month Journey
Begins Monday, March 16.
Together, we will study three Dragon Myths and gather resonant threads into our bundles. With the support of Live Writing Circles, Workshops, Open Council Discussion, and Embodiment Journeys, we will each work to submit THREE pieces of writing for our collaborative publication*.

in a loud voice,
as if from one mouth.”

Saga is a trauma-aware space where there will be vulnerable shares (poems, stories, etc.) about challenging topics. It is not, however, a group therapy space for verbally processing traumatic history. The facilitators of this space are not therapists or counselors. If you suspect you would benefit from 1:1 therapeutic support while embarking on this creative unearthing journey in Saga, we encourage you to line up that support.
By joining this program, you are taking responsibility for managing your own experience, as both the keeper of your own journey and a sovereign witness of others’ journeys.
The Lineage of the Ancient Word Weavers
This work stands in a lineage far older than modern writing practices.
It echoes back to the women who wove reality with their breath, with their root network, attuned to culture and the space beyond time.
These women tracked the unseen with sacred sight and transposed into language as both medicine and map.
Across many cultures - Norse, Celtic, Greek, Sumerian, Mesoamerican, Indigenous - there have always been women who served as Word Weavers: women who shaped reality through prayer, chant, lament, and story. These women wove the intangible -
recorded the dreams of the tribe
crafted laments and dirges for the dead
channeled poetry for Earth and Spirit
wrote prayers that carried families through famine
shaped myth to guide communities through upheaval
spoke the words that no one else could speak
They carried the understanding that the written word, when born from the body, the bones, the wound, the wild, does not just describe experience. It alters it.
SAGA is born of this universal lineage of women who write from the sacred, the somatic, and the unseen. In this Lineage, we work with Living Word not just as self-expression, but as invocation. Far beyond journaling, we are devoted to the Art of Living Words as prayer-craft, soul-liberation, culture-making.
SAGA is held by Spiritual & Physical Councils of Ancient Word Weavers. Together, we carry forth Writing as a ritual act of creative healing, a way of aligning the human with the Divine, the psyche with the primordial, the personal with the mythic.
